WERA Clubman Bikes

WERA (Western Eastern Racing Association) offers many different classes for racing, at many different tracks around the United States, like VIR , Summit Point Raceway , Barber Motorsports Park , and others.  At a WERA event, you can watch just about everything race, from modern 600cc sportbikes to vintage bikes, but my favorite class is the Clubman class.

Clubman class has been called many things, from a dumping ground for uncompetitive bikes to a builder's class.  I prefer calling it a builder's class, because the rules are loose enough to let the rider/owners use their imagination to come up with many different options and choices in machinery, suspension, motors, whatever.  So in one race, you can see singles, twins, in-line fours, old bikes, new bikes, and everything in between.
